Flipkart Official Review
I guess there is inspiration just about everywhere – it is to you where you choose to find it and stand up for what you believe in. Malala did that. She stood up for what she believed in and was shot by the Taliban. Call it a miracle or a game of fate – she survived the shooting. She lived and she tells her story in her book, “I am Malala” with Christina Lamb.
The book could very well have become sentimental. However, Malala does not let it. She focuses not only her life story but also about what she believes in – which is Education for girls and women and how that can change the world. The book is about how to not give up hope and stand in the face of adversity, for what you believe in. “I am Malala” is not just about one girl – it is about one sixteen year old girl who stood up perhaps for everyone else as well, who stood up for her basic right to education
The story of a young girl who battles against odds to live her dream of getting educated is what I Am Malala is about. Malala’s survival story is sure to create a storm of emotions within and is truly inspiring.
